Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement
This Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (the “Agreement”) is entered into as of 2026-06-05 between:

1. Purpose. The parties wish to discuss and carry out book-production services (the “Purpose”), which requires disclosing confidential information to each other.
2. Confidential Information. “Confidential Information” means any non-public information disclosed by one party (“Discloser”) to the other (“Recipient”), including the Author’s manuscript, text, artwork, plans and personal data, and Librum’s methods, quotes and materials, whether marked confidential or reasonably understood to be.
3. Obligations. The Recipient will (a) keep the Confidential Information strictly confidential; (b) use it only for the Purpose; (c) not disclose it to third parties except to team members or sub-contractors who need it and are bound by equivalent confidentiality; and (d) protect it with at least reasonable care.
4. Exclusions. Confidential Information does not include information that is or becomes public through no fault of the Recipient, was lawfully known before disclosure, is independently developed, or is rightfully received from a third party without restriction.
5. The manuscript stays the Author’s. Nothing here transfers any ownership or rights in the Author’s work to Librum. Librum will not publish, share or reuse the manuscript for any purpose other than the agreed services.
6. Required disclosure. The Recipient may disclose Confidential Information if required by law, giving the Discloser reasonable prior notice where permitted.
7. Term. This Agreement applies to disclosures made for three (3) years from the effective date, and the confidentiality obligations survive for three (3) years after disclosure — and indefinitely for an unpublished manuscript, until the Author publishes it or releases it publicly.
8. No licence; no warranty. No licence is granted by this Agreement. Confidential Information is provided “as is”.
9. Governing law. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, with the competent courts in Belgrade, except that a consumer keeps the protection of mandatory laws and courts of their country of residence.
